Reportage: Alexia Foundation for World Peace
Over the course of 2 years while studying and working in London, I was awarded a grant by the Alexia Foundation to continue my project on East Asian immigrants. It was a project offering a glimpse into the lives of immigrants, displaying the challenges they face in integrating to their new European surroundings. It is a study of both western and eastern cultural iconography as they blend into the new landscape.
I was fortunate enough to have one of my images from the project accepted in the 15th anniversary of the Alexia Foundation's group exhibit called, Eyes on the World. That exhibit has traveled to New York City, Istanbul, Tokyo, Beijing and Athens. I am currently working closely with the foundation to bring the exhibit to the middle of America. If you are interested in having the exhibit come to your city, please email me.
